    Working with Dr. Marco Colombo on an EPSRC-funded project that aims to develop higher-fidelity computational models of boiling heat transfer with application to nuclear reactors.

    Worked with Dr. Sean R Anderson to develop vision-based methods for pipe inspection using artificial intelligence algorithms on the EPSRC grant Pipebots.

    Mentored an undergraduate student on a summer research project funded through the SURE scheme.

    Low Carbon Combustion Centre, University of Sheffield
    Worked with a project co-investigator to perform numerical analysis of wall shear stresses on an impinging jet with respect to Reynold’s numbers and plate temperatures for application in aviation gas turbine engines and industrial heat exchangers.
  6. CFD Courseware Developer

    Department of Multidisciplinary Engineering Education, University of Sheffield
    Designed and wrote introductory tutorials for second year students to perform CFD simulations on Ansys Fluent; produced materials cover pre-processing, execution and post-processing for scenarios involving laminar, turbulent and compressible flows; scripted short videos explaining key ideas, and introduced ‘stretch target’ activities.

  1. PhD Aerospace Engineering

    Univeristy of Sheffield
    My PhD thesis focused on improving the accuracy of computational fluid dynamics simulations for complex turbulent flows. By strategically collecting data and integrating machine learning with traditional turbulence models, I enhanced RANS predictions for flows involving adverse pressure gradients and separations. I also explored applying the enhanced turbulence models for aerodynamic shape optimisation in complex flow. Supervisors: Dr. Sean R Anderson and Prof. Ning Qin.
